The globally recognised Diploma for Harbour Masters distance learning course provides the marine safety and management knowledge required by harbour masters and port captains around the world, as well as their deputies and staff, as well as others with responsibility for the marine functions of a port or harbour.

This international Harbour Master course was developed in partnership with the IHMA and the UKHMA

It's also recognised by the UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) as a professional foundation and development distance learning course for harbour masters and their personnel. The course addresses the UK National Occupational Standards for Harbour Masters as well as the Port Marine Safety Code. The course attracts representatives from ports and maritime administrations around the world.

The course has also been recognised by the University of Middlesex (London) and successful Diploma students qualify for advanced standing entry to a MBA (Harbour Masters) which can also be completed by part-time distance learning study.
