Barry Crocker BA (Hons) Econ, MCIPS
Barry Crocker has an operational background in logistics and is currently Programme Leader and lecturer on the MSc Programmes in Purchasing, Logistics and Supply Chain Management at the Salford Business School at the University of Salford.
In recent years he has published four textbooks on procurement and supply chain topics with Stuart and one book with three other authors. Many of these books are recognised by UK Chartered Institutes for their professional qualifications.
Barry has undertaken training and consultancy assignments for a wide range of organisations, working in Kazakhstan, Russia, Nigeria, Angola, Ghana, Egypt, Abu Dhabi and in various European locations. The majority of these events have been related to supply chain management, logistics, warehousing, materials management and procurement.
Barry has been an external examiner for procurement and logistics programmes at the London Metropolitan University and for the MBA in Supply Chain Management at Leicester University. He has also been an Examiner for the professional body, The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply. He is currently an external examiner for Oxford Brookes University.
